Amidst dark and brooding Cornish seas… love blossoms between former smuggling rivals Silas Finn and Joan Chalk. Unfortunately, for the starcross’d lovers… when Silas’ long-suffering wife Phyllida finds out, she takes punishment into her own hands.

In the summer of 1972, Bennett and Lois Cartwright were found dead on a picnic blanket in Matheisson State Park, Illinois. Results of a post mortem discovered that the couple had taken their own lives. The only clue as to why, was a tiny tattoo of the earth with a backwards arrow through it on their wrists.
